Paradise in the Bay!

OMG, is it hot on the water today. It feels as if the sun could burn clear to the bone. We are still getting ready for our 4th of July weekend and I can't wait. I am sure there will be a ton of time on the water.

Today I finally moved the scale, so I am crossing my fingers that it sticks. I hit 99 pounds gone as of this morning! YEAH... In this weather I have been eating alot of Italian bean salad and tuna. Anything cold works for me. Anyway I gotta run, the girl wants to go back down to the dock so I think I will join her. God Bless America!

Intervention Needed

I can't get enough of this sunset, it is so beautiful and relaxing on the eyes. I just love it.

Okay, I have not written anything for several months and it is time to refocus my efforts so I am back. The last couple of months have been a real challenge with pain from @#&* in my neck and back. My weight in the last month (since I started the steroid injections) has gone up 3 pounds. Mind boggling! I am doing everything pretty much the same as I do use fit day to track what goes in. However, I must do something different to get the scale to move in the right direction again, AND IT WILL. I would think that after the injections have time to work that I will be able to resume my daily walking. Trust me I have had enough sitting around, laying around with heat pads and pain meds. I will just have to count June 2009 as the lost month or the month for a stall. So be it, it is out and now it is time to move on.... My frustration has been freaking crazy however I have lost 95 pounds total and am so glad that much is gone. I look forward to the next 50. Yeah!
We just spent the weekend at the lake, it was cloudy until we got ready to head back to KC. Figures! I just took it for what it was worth and decided that God really wanted me resting with my spine issues, so I did just that. Except for sleeping it was all good.
Good News/Bad News: I have another raccoon family living on our dock. I saw the Mom and 3 babies on Sunday and I couldn't take my eyes off of them for at least 30 minutes. I watched as the babies played and followed each other around the dock, climbing on whatever they could while Mom just observed. OMG it is such a high to have the rare opportunity to observe a little life just the way the Lord intended it to be. THANK YOU LORD! These babies are smaller than the ones a couple of years ago, oh so cute as they explore life's offerings for the first time. Oh yes, the bad part of the news is that they POOP on the floats and if you lift the flooring it is a terrible sight to see!
So yes, I have started to blog again hoping for results. Enjoy the sunset. Later.
